The Avanhardivska Village Council (Odesa Oblast) has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Anenii Noi District Council (Republic of Moldova).
The village head, and the head of the Odesa Regional Branch of the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities, Sergiy Khrustovskyi, announced this.
“Today, it is extremely important for us to develop partnership and friendly relations with the Republic of Moldova. We need to strengthen traditional relations and also explore new dimensions of bilateral cooperation in the field of local government,” he said.
According to the Agreement, the parties will exchange experience in the field of local development, mutually promote economic, educational, cultural, and tourism development, implement inter-institutional exchanges, especially in the fields of economy, education, culture, sports, environmental protection, transportation, and healthcare.
In addition, the Avanhardivska Village Council and the Anenii Noi District Council will organize exhibitions, fairs of industrial and agricultural products, consumer goods, and conduct internships, and more.
It is worth noting that there are many similar projects in the Avanhardivska community and the Anenii Noi district, including the reconstruction of the dining block in a school with a population of over a thousand students, repairs and roof replacement in schools, reconstruction of water supply and drainage systems, and more.
It should be recalled that the agreement was signed within the framework of the 2nd International Summit of Cities and Regions organized by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
