All responses will be processed and voiced at a joint meeting of representatives of the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities together with Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Stashkiv, scheduled for May 31.

You can join the online meeting to hear about legislative changes in the reform of specialized education, as well as to get answers to questions from all participants who have filled out the form.

As it is known, starting from 2027, Ukraine introduces a three-year specialized secondary education (grades 10-12) in two directions: academic (oriented towards further education in higher education institutions) and professional (acquisition of a profession).

The reform envisages that students will be able to choose the direction of study, subjects, and courses for in-depth study, thus preparing for a specific profession while still in school.

It is worth noting that representatives of the All-Ukrainian Association of Communities took part in an event on May 24, 2024, to discuss the educational reform, during which the chairman of the education committee of the association, Hryhoriy Targonskyi, stated that the Association “will make its proposals to ensure that the reform is effective in rural areas and takes into account the interests of all participants in the educational process.”

On May 28, a discussion of the reform took place with representatives of member communities of the association.

Participants raised questions about how to help communities cope with new challenges, especially those communities where it is impossible to establish a lyceum due to a low number of students.
